My Side of the Mountain (Book Blog)

My Side of the Mountain
By: Jean Craighead George

My side of the mountain is about a named Sam who runs away from home to find his great Gribley's land (Grandfather) that has been in their family for a hundreds years, but no one has lived there for about a hundred years because the family decided that the farm life is no place for a Gribley (Most are sailors). Sam thinks other wise so he runs away in hope to find his grand fathers land and live of the land, while doing this he goes threw many struggles but he learns to over come them and prove that the land is a place for a Gribley.

My thoughts:
In my opinion this is the most boring book ever it was so slow pace and not interesting. The books plot line was so basic and from the beginning everyone knows hes going to live and prove the Gribley's are made for the land like its pointless. I guess it could be interesting to someone that's into living off the land but that's just not my favorite subject to read about unless its like fast pace and really intense and this was the opposite of that for me so basically I had to force myself to finish this book.
