The rating for this movie is 4 stars because it caught almost all aspects as in the play by William Shakespeare. by saying so the movie was also very out of date and hard to understand at times, the background music was also distracting and took away from the preformance, and finally the characters seemed to over exaggerate at times. I believe the main characters did a good job at playing their part over all just over reacted or make thing non realalistic at times. Romeo did a pretty good job at acting as tho he actually was in the movie but at time its seemed asd if he was trying to hard to make it seem real making it "cheesy" therefore making it 3 stars but not 5 due to the over reactance of Romeo and other characters in the play. i would not recomind this movie to anyone who does not understand midevil wording or interested in romance movies because that is basically all it is but is the closest movie to the play.
